Empress (who has reportedly dropped her last name Schuck) is ready to take on a major role in an original show conceptualized by ABS-CBN. At her solo press conference held last week, Empress expressed her happiness and excitement now that she is the lead character of her launching show titled Rosalka.
The 17-year old actress says that playing the role of a hunchback is a memorable experience for her.
After 10 years of waiting in the business, the Star Magic Batch 13 member will finally have the opportunity to show viewers her talent and passion in acting. With her first big break in the television scene, new experiences will definitely be waiting for her.
Empress, who claims that she has not had a boyfriend in the past, will be working with two good-looking actors in the industry: Matt Evans and Felix Roco. The young actress has worked with both of them previously in different ABS-CBN shows.
Medyo parang may getting-to know each other [stage] pa. Pero okay naman po, okay naman po sila katrabaho," said Empress about her leading men.
When asked to name the co-star that she was more comfortable with, Empress answered, "Sa mas kumportable po sa ngayon po si Matt kasi mas marami po kaming pinagsamahan."
Empress has already proven her acting skill when she received the Best Child Actress award in 2003 for the movie 9 Mornings.
During the press conference, she was asked regarding her secret in acting and she simply said, "Naku, hindi naman po sa madali akong umiyak.
