The Kapuso network claims the Kapamilya network is not telling the truth.

This is the gist of GMA-7's public statement about the civil case filed by ABS-CBN against ratings service provider AGB Nielsen.

The statement, which came from Kapuso network corporate communications consultant Butch Racquel, was sent in the form of a press release to PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) this afternoon, December 28.

The press release singles out a statement that it says the Kapamilya network often includes in its press releases about ratings (itals provided):

"ABS-CBN shifted to Kantar Media/TNS after filing a case vs. AGB Nielsen Media Research for failing to comply with its request to investigate alleged cheating and data tampering in TV ratings. The case is still pending in court."

She may not have shed most of those unwanted pounds she gained during pregnancy, but Regine Velasquez, Mrs. Ogie Alcasid in real life, might get back to a slimmer physique in less than two months when she and her husband mount the stage to do a concert.

This early, Ogie and Regine are preparing for their Valentine concert titled “Mr. & Mrs. A” on Feb. 14, 2012 at Smart Araneta Coliseum. This will be their first concert together as husband and wife.

Reality-based concert

The couple describes “Mr. & Mrs. A” as a reality-based concert since they will tell their love and life stories in the show. They will be singing about the love between two survivors of heartaches and intrigues.

“It will be a musical journey of love,” says a very excited Ogie. He promises to engage the audience with beautiful songs “about finding love, being in love, staying in love and all things in between!”

Sunud-sunod ang contract signing na isinasagawa ngayon sa bakuran ng GMA-7.

Bukod sa mga dati nang talents ng Kapuso network na nag-renew ng kanilang mga kontrata, may ilan din namang mga bagong Kapuso. Isa na nga rito ang singer-actor na si Mark Bautista.

Pumirma ng three-year guaranteed contract si Mark sa GMA-7 last Thursday, March 11. Kasama niyang pumirma ang manager niya na si Veronique del Rosario ng Viva Artist Agency.

Ayon kay Mark, hindi naman talaga siya lumipat mula sa ABS-CBN, kung saan napapanood siya sa musical-variety show na ASAP, kundi nagbabalik lamang siya sa GMA-7.

"Hindi naman 'to talaga 'to na parang lumipat. Pero bumalik lang ako kasi actually, dito nga ako nag-start," sabi niya.

Matatandaang bago naging Kapamilya si Mark ay lumabas sila noon ni Sarah Geronimo sa SOP pagkatapos ng Star For A Night, ang singing contest ng Viva hosted by Regine Velasquez na ipinalabas sa IBC-13.

Dagdag ni Mark, hindi rin daw siya nahirapang magdesisyon na bumalik sa GMA-7.

Tatlo agad ang shows na gagawin ni Mark sa Kapuso network. Una  rito ang Sunday musical-variety show na Party Pilipinas, na kapalit ng SOP at makakatapat ng dati niyang programa sa ABS-CBN na ASAP.

STARTALK HOSTS. Last Friday naman, March 13, ay nag-renew ng kanilang mga kontrata ang mga host ng Startalk na sina Joey de Leon, Butch Francisco, Ricky Lo, at Lolit Solis.

Ang iba pang Kapuso stars na pumirma ng kontrata last week ay sina Ogie Alcasid, Janno Gibbs, Katrina Halili, Lovi Poe, Kyla, Jay-R, TJ Trinidad, Raymond Gutierrez, Ehra Madrigal, Ynna Asistio, Bubbles Paraiso, at ang StarStruck V winners and avengers.
