Noontime show "Happy Yipee Yehey" will have its final episode next Saturday, February 4, nearly a year after its first episode, ABS-CBN announced.

The show, whose main hosts are John Estrada, Randy Santiago, Toni Gonzaga, Rico J. Puno and Pokwang, aired its pilot on February 12 last year. An original host, Mariel Rodriguez, had moved to TV5 and is now host of the early evening game show "Wil Time Bigtime."

Other "Happy Yipee Yehey" hosts include John Prats, Matteo Guidicelli, and Bianca Manalo.

"Happy Yipee Yehey" is the second noontime show to be cancelled after Willie Revillame's "Wowowee" had been put off the air over the network's ongoing case against the now TV5 host. The show was preceded by "Pilipinas Win na Win" that was hosted first by Kris Aquino and Robin Padilla then eventually emceed by the Hitmakers Rey Valera, Marco Sison, Nonoy Zuniga and Rico J. Puno.

ABS-CBN issued the following statement, which was sent to Yahoo! Philippines OMG! on Thursday, January 26:

"'Happy Yipee Yehey' (HYY) will have its last episode with the grand finals of its "My Girl" search at the AFP Theater on Saturday, February 4, 2012.

ABS-CBN is very grateful to the HYY hosts and production staff for their hard work and contribution in giving our noontime viewers a "happy, yipee, yehey" experience for the past year.

We also extend our deepest gratitude to our viewers, here in the Philippines and in The Filipino Channel (TFC) markets worldwide, for their support to the program.

The HYY hosts will be given new projects that kapamilyas will surely enjoy."

Kahit hindi nagsasalita sina Vic Sotto at Pauleen Luna tungkol sa isyu sa kanilang dalawa, may mga intriga pa ring naglalabasan na hindi maiwasang nakakaapekto sa young actress.

Isa na rito ang nakakaintrigang tweet ni Oyo Sotto, na sa duda ng karamihan ay tumutukoy sa Vic-Pauleen isyu.

Nung December 4 ay nag-post si Oyo sa kanyang Twitter account VSotto12 ng: "Ang dami talagang mukang pera... ang daming lumalandi! Nakakalungkot (hindi sa akin) Haay nako...."

Sinundan pa nito ng ilang beses niyang sinulat na "respeto lang."

Kaya naglabasan ang intrigang tutol daw ito sa pakikipagrelasyon ng kanyang ama kay Pauleen.

Naging isyu ito dahil sa lumabas ding kuwento na idinaan daw ni Vic sa mga regalo ang panliligaw sa young actress.

Kaagad itong itinanggi ni Pauleen dahil minsan lang daw siya nakatanggap ng regalo mula sa comedian/TV host at ito raw ay nuong nakaraang birthday niya.

Ayaw na sanang palakihin pa ito ni Pauleen, kaya lang naaapektuhan siya dahil lumalabas siyang materialistic, gawa nang patuloy daw na pagreregalo sa kanya ni Vic.

Sinagot niya ito sa Startalk, at ang sumunod nuon, may ipinost na naman si Oyo sa kanyang Twitter account: "Kung nasaktan ka, ikaw yun."

Ang latest, na-deactivate ang BBM (BlackBerry Messenger) ni Pauleen dahil iniiwasan na lang nitong makatanggap ng kung anu-anong mensaheng pinatatamaan siya.

Ayaw na rin daw niyang mag-post ng kung anu-ano sa kanyang BBM at baka bigyan na naman daw ng ibang kahulugan.

Pati ang pagti-tweet ay tinigil na rin nito at iniiwasan na rin niyang magbasa ng mga tweets.

Pero apektado na ang magulang ni Pauleen dahil hindi nila matanggap na pagbintangang "gold digger" o "manggagamit" ang kanilang anak.

Nung kamakalawa lang, naglabas ng statement ang ina ni Pauleen na si Mrs. Chat Luna at ipinadala niya ito sa Startalk.

Narito ang kabuuan ng statement na ipinadala nito bilang pagtatanggol sa kanyang anak:

"There is no better time for our thoughts, as parents, on the Vic-Pauleen issue, be heard but now, for we wish our daughter nothing more but a peaceful and fulfilled 2012.

"We're proud to have brought up Pauleen as a God-fearing child, and have full trust and confidence, whatever decision she makes.

"We have raised her and her brother as well-provided individuals encouraged to live their lives to the fullest.

"Since her start in this industry, she has but one goal—that is to enjoy what she loves the most—acting and hosting. What she earns from this profession comes secondary to her passion.

"That is why it pains her and us as well to hear that she is using someone else for financial gains. Just so everything si clear, Pauleen is not the breadwinner of the family.

"We, her parents, are very much able to perform this role for our brood. Whatever she earns is placed in her own account, for her own disposal and has been accounted for since.

"Although she is not obligated in any way to share, we are very proud of her being a blessing for those in need.

"She is a very simple lady with simple wants and needs. She has been smart in ensuring that her future is secured through her investments.

"Investments such as the new house she is building from her savings—contrary to the speculations that it was a gift.

"We would like to extend our regrets to Mr. Vic Sotto for being dragged in this issue.

"We respect his show of interest with Pauleen and trust that whatever she decides regarding this matter will be for the best of everyone."

Isa ang dalaga sa mga orihinal na miyembro ng grupong pumalit sa SexBomb Dancers nung 2006.

Lalo pang nakilala si Saida dahil sa partisipasyon nito sa pamosong Pinoy Henyo segment ng Eat Bulaga!

Nguni't noong nakaraang buwan, nagtaka ang mga sumusubaybay sa palabas nang hindi na nila napapanood si Saida.

Huling linggo pa ng Nobyembre nang ito ay huling makita sa telebisyon.

Marami ang nagtanong, marami ang nagtaka, sari-saring espekulasyon ang lumutang.

At ayon sa report ng Startalk TX, Sabado, January 7, dahil na rin sa pangungulit ng kanyang mga followers sa Twitter, napilitang sumagot sa mga tanong ang dancer.

Last January 2, araw ng Lunes, pabirong nag-tweet si Saida ...

"Pag umalis, buntis agad? Di ba puwedeng may ibang dahilan muna?"

Nasundan pa ito ng isa pang tweet kung saan sinabi nito na...

"Pag di buntis, may kaaway naman! Ano ba yan! Wala bang iba?"

The following day, January 3, Saida addressed the same issue by posting the following on Facebook...

"Hello sa inyong lahat! Miss na miss ko na kayo at ang pag-perform sa Eat Bulaga! Pasensiya na po kayo at kinailangan kong umalis for some reasons.

"Pero hindi ako buntis! How I wish! At wala rin po akong nakaaway!

"May gusto lang po ako sigurong mangyari sa buhay ko. Gusto kong mag-grow at mag-try ng ibang field.

"Sa ngayon nagpapahinga muna ako at e-enjoy-in ang vacation. Na-miss ko ito at matagal-tagal din akong nagsayaw!

"Happy 2012 sa ating lahat! Magkikita-kita rin tayo soon! Love you all! "Sana patuloy ninyo pa rin akong suportahan."

But apart from his continued success—as with “The Buzz” special co-host Ai Ai delas Alas’ description of him as “mayaman, pogi, box office king” in their taped interview on “The Buzz” aired on Jan. 1—showbiz watchers still haven’t lost interest in Bossing’s love life.

Following recent rumors of a blossoming relationship with “Eat Bulaga” co-host Pauleen Luna—this, despite still working with former flame, Pia Guanio (who insists, every chance she gets in interviews, on being happily married)—Ai Ai asked: “Kumusta naman ang heart mo?”

“Awww… Ikaw naman, tinanong mo pa, alam mo namang steady lang ako,” Vic replied, with a smile, obviously refusing to address the intrigues. “The word for the day is steady. ‘Pag sinabing steady, ‘pag pinagusapan ‘yung love life, parang ikaw lang, ‘di ba?”

He also expounded, “Ang love life, para sa akin, marami kang pagkukunan ng love life eh. Love life mo with your kids, ‘yung mga apo—lalo na ako may bago akong apo. Mga kaibigan, mga mahal mo sa buhay.

Love is an angel

As a new grandfather to Ondrea Bliss, the newborn baby girl of his son Oyo Boy Sotto and wife Kristine Hermosa, Vic shared his happiness over this recent development.

“Nakita ko ‘yung excitement ni Oyo at ni Tin. Although hindi ako nakapunta sa hospital, kumpleto yung report niya [Oyo] eh. From the house, ‘on our way to the hospital.’ Pagdating dun, ‘5 cm na.’ Tapos naging delivery room…”

He added, “A little after 12, nag-text na si Oyo. ‘Lumabas na siya! Yahoo!’ Ang una kong tinanong, ‘How’s the baby? How’s Tin?’ [Sagot niya,] ‘Everything’s okay.’”

Enteng, Ina: reunited?

With the success of the Metro Manila Film Fest entry, “Enteng ng Ina Mo,” Vic related, “Wagas na wagas ang pasasalamat natin kay Lord siyempre, at sa lahat ng mga manonood ng pelikulang Pilipino… na sumusuporta sa festival taon-taon. Ang mas nakakatuwa lang ngayon, marami tayong record na na-break.”
